Subsonica on Lake Cecita

On Saturday 1 August 2026 Subsonica come to Calabria for Day 2 of 'Concerts by the Lake', the Be Alternative Festival series set on the shores of Lake Cecita, at the Church of San Lorenzo in Camigliatello Silano, in the heart of the Sila National Park. This is the only Calabrian date of the 'Terre Rare 96-26 Tour', the live journey with which the Turin band celebrates thirty years of its career. Sharing the same stage are Eman and Mille, for a full day of great music on the Sila plateau.

The Terre Rare 96-26 Tour

Pioneers in blending electronica, rock and club culture, Subsonica, led by Samuel, have shaped the history of Italian music with tracks such as 'Tutti i miei sbagli', 'Strade' and 'Nuova ossessione'. The 'Terre Rare 96-26' tour spans more than twenty-five years of sonic research and anticipates their eleventh studio album, 'Terre Rare', in a live set that combines the great classics with new sounds. The Camigliatello date is conceived as a meeting between the power of their sound and the natural setting of the mountain lake.

The Be Alternative Festival and Lake Cecita

'Concerts by the Lake' is the core of the Be Alternative Festival, which in 2026 runs from 31 July to 2 August on the shores of Lake Cecita. Alongside Subsonica, the line-up brings to the Sila names such as Mogwai, Kings of Convenience and Daniele Silvestri, in a festival that unites great music and a protected landscape. The Church of San Lorenzo, in the San Lorenzo district of Spezzano della Sila, thus becomes an open-air stage overlooking one of the most evocative stretches of water on the plateau.

Doors open at 1:00 pm, with concerts starting at 3:00 pm. The Day 2 ticket costs €57 and is available online on DICE and Ticket.it. Children under 10 enter free, and a shuttle bus from Cosenza is available with mandatory booking. As this is an open-air event on a mountain meadow, the organisers recommend bringing a blanket to sit on and a sweatshirt for the evening, when temperatures in the Sila drop.
