Three days of music on Lake Cecita

The Be Alternative Festival 2026 lights up the Calabrian summer again with three days of concerts immersed in the nature of the Sila. From 31 July to 2 August 2026, the setting of Lake Cecita, in the San Lorenzo area of Camigliatello Silano (Spezzano della Sila, CS), hosts the 'Concerts by the Lake' series, one of the most anticipated musical events of the Calabrian summer. The live shows take place near the little Church of San Lorenzo, on the shores of the lake, where the stage faces directly onto the water and the woods of the plateau. This edition brings together major Italian and international names in one of the most striking places in the Sila National Park.

The programme, day by day

On Friday 31 July the stage welcomes Mogwai, Kings of Convenience and Altea, followed by a Partyzan DJ set. On Saturday 1 August it is the turn of Subsonica, on their only Calabrian date, together with Eman, Mille and a Godblesscomputers DJ set. On Sunday 2 August the grand finale is entrusted to Daniele Silvestri, Marco Castello and Giorgio Poi — the latter performing with strings — before the Indie Disco curated by Fabio Nirta. Three evenings that range from Scottish post-rock to Nordic indie folk, from electronica to Italian songwriting, for a broad and varied line-up.

Lake Cecita and the Sila National Park

Lake Cecita, also known as Lake Mucone, is a reservoir set into the Sila plateau, surrounded by pine forests, pastures and trails of the National Park. The San Lorenzo area, with its small church, is one of the most photographed spots in the region and in summer becomes a natural open-air amphitheatre. Beyond the concerts, the Be Alternative Festival offers trekking, outdoor activities and food experiences linked to the products and traditions of the Sila, for a kind of tourism that combines live music with the discovery of the Calabrian mountains.

Tickets and practical information

On the festival days doors open at 1:30 pm, with shows starting at 3:00 pm. Tickets are paid and available on the DICE and Ticket.it platforms, both for single days and as a three-day pass.
