K-Pop Dream – Missione Natale at Teatro Cilea, Reggio Calabria

Teatro Francesco Cilea · Reggio Calabria, Costa Viola, Calabria

21 December 2026

On Monday 21 December 2026 at 6 pm, Teatro Cilea in Reggio Calabria hosts “K-Pop Dream – Missione Natale”, a musical and tribute show inspired by K-pop: three heroines have to save Christmas and break the curse of the Snow Demon, with songs, choreography and special effects. The show is organised by Produzioneventi; tickets are on TicketOne from €19 to €27, free for babies under 12 months. At 9 pm the same theatre stages a different show, Freddie – The Show Must Go On.

The story: three heroines against the Snow Demon

The plot published by the production starts from a legend: the Frost Queen, Yuki-Onna, rejected by a young man in love with another girl, turns him into the Snow Demon and imprisons that girl, the leader of the ancient Christmas Heroines who had tried to save him, in the Frost Kingdom. Today Christmas still exists, but it seems to have lost its meaning, and the frost is growing again in a world where many people feel alone.

Three new Christmas Heroines set out on a mission: free the old leader, break the curse and save the holiday. Standing in their way is an army of demons born of pain and loneliness, led by the Snow Demon, and a mysterious boy raised in the Frost Kingdom who holds a secret that could change the fate of Christmas.

The format: a K-pop musical and tribute show

K-Pop Dream presents itself as a musical and tribute show entirely inspired by the global K-pop phenomenon, the pop music of South Korea. Performers, dancers and actors share the stage, with synchronised choreography that, according to the event description, follows the standards of South Korean productions.

The production promises songs, dance and special effects in a “magical, moving and icy” atmosphere, along with an explicit message: friendship, music and being together are what count against the cold of loneliness. The 6 pm start and free entry for babies up to 12 months make the show accessible to families too. The performers' names and the running time have not been published on the ticketing channels.

Monday 21 December: two different shows at the Cilea

K-Pop Dream takes the stage on Monday 21 December 2026 at 6 pm at Teatro Cilea. On the same day the theatre hosts two different shows: after K-Pop Dream, at 9 pm, comes Freddie – The Show Must Go On, another Produzioneventi production with separate tickets.

The Reggio date is part of a twenty-date tour running from November 2026 to January 2027. In Calabria the show also stops in Rende (Teatro Auditorium Unical, 22 November), Catanzaro (Teatro Comunale, 19 December) and Lamezia Terme (Teatro Grandinetti, 20 December); across the Strait, in Messina, the date is 7 December at the PalaCultura.

Teatro Cilea and how to get there
