The Mushroom Festival marks its 20th edition, renewing one of Mammola ’s most iconic summer events. The festival takes place on Thursday, August 13, 2026, starting at 7:00 p.m., in Largo Magenta. The star of the evening is the porcini mushroom, an ingredient deeply rooted in the landscape and culinary culture of Aspromonte. The festival celebrates its value through cuisine, interactions with the public, and a format that engages the entire town. The culinary offerings range from traditional dishes to street food, with preparations that pair porcini mushrooms with other ingredients representative of local cuisine, such as stockfish. A children’s menu is also available.

Music by the band TEA and entertainment featuring the “Giants of Our Tradition” will accompany the audience throughout the evening, adding a touch of folk entertainment to the culinary experience.
