Dimartino Live at Sunset — Color Fest 2026
Riviera dei Tramonti — Lungomare Falcone e Borsellino · Lamezia Terme, Costa Viola, Calabria
13 August 2026
On Thursday 13 August 2026 the Sicilian singer-songwriter Dimartino plays a sunset set on the Riviera dei Tramonti in Lamezia Terme, on the third and final day of Color Fest 14. Announced as his only Calabrian date, the concert brings to the Tyrrhenian shore the songs of 'L'improbabile piena dell'Oreto', his fifth solo album released on 8 May 2026 after a seven-year wait and anticipated by the single 'L'oro del fiume'. Antonio Di Martino is also one half of Colapesce Dimartino, the duo behind the Sanremo 2021 hit 'Musica leggerissima'. The festival takes place on the Lungomare Falcone e Borsellino seafront and requires a ticket.
Dimartino at sunset on the Riviera dei Tramonti
On Thursday 13 August 2026 Dimartino takes the Color Fest stage in Lamezia Terme for a sunset concert on the third and final day of the festival. The setting is the Riviera dei Tramonti, the stretch of Tyrrhenian coast along the Lungomare Falcone e Borsellino that gives the festival its name and, in August, offers one of the most striking backdrops in Calabria. According to the organisers' announcement, this is the singer-songwriter's only date in Calabria. The exact set time has not been announced: the detailed daily schedule is published by the festival.
Who is Dimartino
Dimartino is the stage name of Antonio Di Martino, a singer-songwriter born in Palermo in 1982. He started out very young with Famelika, a band also active in anti-mafia demonstrations, releasing 'Storie poco normali' (2002) and 'Maschere felici' (2006) before beginning his solo career. His writing, as attentive to words as it is to music, has made him one of the most recognisable voices in contemporary Italian songwriting, moving between irony, melancholy and a Mediterranean imagination.
Colapesce Dimartino and 'Musica leggerissima'
Since 2020 Antonio Di Martino has formed the duo Colapesce Dimartino with Lorenzo Urciullo, known as Colapesce: a partnership between two Sicilian songwriters that debuted with the album 'I mortali'. In 2021 the duo took 'Musica leggerissima' to the Sanremo Festival, finishing fourth and winning the press room award. The song became one of the summer's biggest hits, earning five platinum records and seven weeks at the top of the Italian FIMI chart. That success brought Dimartino's writing to a wide audience without ever pulling him away from his solo path.
'L'improbabile piena dell'Oreto', the new album
The concert comes just a few months after the release of 'L'improbabile piena dell'Oreto', Dimartino's fifth solo album, published on 8 May 2026, seven years after 'Afrodite'. The record takes its name from the Oreto, the river that crosses Palermo, turning it into the image around which the whole story is built. It was anticipated by the single 'L'oro del fiume', released on 20 March 2026 and produced by Roberto Cammarata: the story of a gold prospector standing still in midstream, questioning the meaning of his own search. The comeback is accompanied by a series of concerts in which the artist performs his songs in an intimate voice-and-guitar format.
Color Fest 14: three days by the sea in Lamezia
Dimartino's concert is part of the fourteenth edition of Color Fest, held on 11, 12 and 13 August 2026 in Lamezia Terme. The motto chosen for this edition is 'Summer on a solitary beach', a tribute to Franco Battiato, and it captures the spirit of the festival well: adventurous music by the sea, spanning electronica, songwriting and international sounds. The event unfolds across six stages — four in the main area, one in the accommodation zone and one devoted to aftershows — and has built a national reputation over the years by bringing to Calabria artists who rarely travel this far south.
The rest of the line-up
Alongside Dimartino, the 2026 Color Fest line-up features leading names from the Italian and international scene. The festival opens on 11 August with Apparat, a central figure in European electronica, performing with a full band. Guests include Cosmo, who also plays a concert in a morning slot, and Britain's Django Django. The third day, 13 August, also features La Niña, winner of a Targa Tenco in 2025, the English post-punk of Deadletter and Mai Mai, along with further artists announced by the organisers.
Tickets and information
Color Fest is a ticketed festival: both single-day tickets and passes for the whole event are available, sold through the official website and via Ticketmaster, the official ticketing partner. Prices vary depending on the day chosen and the sales phase, so it is best to check the official ticket office for the current price for the 13 August date. For those travelling from elsewhere, the festival also includes a dedicated area for guest accommodation.
Getting to Lamezia Terme
Lamezia Terme lies on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, in the province of Catanzaro, and is one of the easiest places to reach in the region: Lamezia Terme international airport is only a few kilometres from the centre, Lamezia Terme Centrale is one of the main stops on the Tyrrhenian railway line, and the A2 motorway exit is close by. The festival area runs along the Lungomare Falcone e Borsellino, in the coastal part of town: on concert nights it is worth arriving early and checking the parking information published by the organisers.
