On August 14, 2026, the Face Festival - Aspromondo will celebrate its fifteenth edition and return to Gambarie to present the works created during the 2026 artist residency. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Bosco degli Artisti, in the municipality of Santo Stefano in Aspromonte. The theme chosen for this edition is “Care”, understood as attention to what already exists, responsibility toward the landscape, and the ability to build relationships between people, artworks, and the environment. The residency takes place at the former Cucullaro Forest Nursery.

Event details

Here, the artists work in close contact with the mountains, engaging with its materials, rhythms, and the transformations of the landscape. The works are then permanently installed in the Bosco degli Artisti in Gambarie. The Face Festival thus presents to the public the result of a shared process: works conceived in the very place where they will continue to exist, exposed to the changes in the environment and to the gaze of those who pass through the Artists’ Forest.
