Ten years of sport, friendship and a passion for the sea. From 14 to 16 August 2026, the Bivona Beach Festival returns to mark an important milestone: ten years together, from 2016 to 2026. Organised by the Bivona Beach Association, under the patronage of Vibo Valentia City Council’s Department of Culture, the event will once again transform the Bivona coastline into a meeting place where sport, music and entertainment come together in a festive atmosphere. The programme includes beach volleyball, football tennis, bocce and table tennis tournaments, alongside entertainment, music and social events designed to engage participants and spectators of all ages.

Now in its tenth edition, it remains one of the most eagerly awaited summer events on the Vibo Valentia coast, combining competition, entertainment and the desire to enjoy the seaside together.

Sport, music and evenings by the shore

The programme includes beach volleyball, football tennis, bocce and table tennis tournaments, alongside entertainment, music and social occasions designed to engage participants and spectators of all ages. During the day the shore hosts sporting and recreational activities, while the evenings make room for live music and DJ sets. The tenth-anniversary edition brings several musical moments to the stage, including an evening dedicated to Max Power, a tribute band to 883 and Max Pezzali. Admission to the event is free, for a celebration open to residents and tourists alike.

Bivona is a coastal locality in the territory of Vibo Valentia, facing the Tyrrhenian Sea in the Vibo Marina area.
