The "Balenando in Burrasca" festival - dedicated to contemporary theatre, the performing arts and shared creativity - returns to Reggio Calabria for its eighth edition. From 4 to 11 August 2026, the Arena Lungomare Pellaro will host a series of theatre performances, performative experiences and workshops designed to engage diverse audiences through storytelling, music and experimental theatre. Alongside the performances, the festival also offers workshops and participatory activities that deepen the relationship between artists, the local area and the community, reaffirming "Balenando in Burrasca’s" role as a space for cultural exchange and experimentation.

This project brings theatre in its most diverse forms to the local area, promoting contemporary creativity and creating opportunities for participation through the performing arts.
