Balenando in Burrasca Festival

On Wednesday 23 September 2026, the Pellaro Seafront Arena – Naval League in Reggio Calabria will host a new event as part of the Balenando in Burrasca Festival, with a programme that weaves together theatre, myth, memory and audience participation. The day kicks off at 5.30 pm with ‘Custodi del Miraggio’, a street theatre performance aimed at children and young people, organised by the Osservatorio sulla ’ndrangheta, with the support of the Fondazione Fameli Tresca. At 6.30 pm, “Mythos – La leggenda dei Quattro Elementi dello Stretto” takes to the stage: a journey through nature, myth and consciousness, written and performed by Etherea 4 Elementi – Thekla De Marco, with Daniele Ficara.

This project brings theatre in its most diverse forms to the local area, promoting contemporary creativity and creating opportunities for participation through the performing arts.
