Opening with opera and satire

The season opens on 7 November with The Barber of Seville, Rossini's masterpiece presented as narrated opera, designed to bring in audiences who regard the form as distant. It continues on 15 November with Santo Palumbo and «È tutta colpa di Cavour», mixing satire, history and comedy.

Dance, musical theatre and Christmas classics

The programme continues on 21 November with The Phantom of the Opera, a Professione Danza production combining musical theatre and ballet, and on 13 December with Buon Natale Signor Scrugio, a musical inspired by Charles Dickens's «A Christmas Carol». These are the two evenings best suited to family audiences, and the closest to the imagery of the season.

Closing with gospel, and a charitable collection

Closing the programme on 19 December is the Christmas Gospel Concert, staged in collaboration with the Corona Gospel Choir. Part of the evening's takings goes to a charitable initiative: it is the only date in the season with this element, and also the one that closes the path just before Christmas.

A varied and accessible programme

The season is explicitly built to be accessible: families, young people, residents, visitors and theatre regulars each find at least one evening suited to them.
