From 24 to 28 September 2026, the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria will be taking part in SuperScienceMe with five days dedicated to research, science communication and engaging with the city. The programme features workshops, live experiments, talks, film screenings and activities open to the public, involving students, researchers and local residents. 25 September will be dedicated in particular to exploring research, with the Research Arena, activities organised by the Children’s University and experiments in the university’s laboratories.
Event details
In the afternoon, events will also take place on the Italo Falcomatà seafront promenade, at the NOEL Laboratory, featuring talks, an experiential walk and, at 8.00 pm, the ‘Concerto al tramonto’ (Sunset Concert) by the Mediterranean University Ensemble. The programme also includes events dedicated to culture, inclusion and education, culminating on the final day, 28 September, with the degree certificate presentation ceremony for PhD graduates.
