From 17 October to 4 December 2026 the Cine Teatro Odeon in Reggio Calabria, on Via Francesco Cananzi, hosts the sixteenth edition of Reggio in Jazz, the season run by the Naima cultural association. From 17 October to 4 December 2026 the Cine Teatro Odeon in Reggio Calabria hosts the sixteenth edition of Reggio in Jazz, a season devoted to jazz and its many forms of expression. Five concerts spread over seven weeks: not a festival compressed into a few days, but a season that carries the Reggio autumn to the edge of winter.

A line-up that crosses different languages

The programme is built not to repeat itself: it moves between contemporary jazz and electric sounds, vocal projects and large instrumental collaborations. It is a curatorial choice that favours variety over stylistic consistency, and one that makes following the whole season more rewarding than picking a single night.

Who is on stage, night by night

On Saturday 17 October the season opens with the Flavio Boltro 4et, led by one of the most highly regarded trumpeters on the Italian jazz scene. High Five Quintet follows on 31 October and the Giovanna Famulari 4et on 14 November.

Saturday 28 November is a double bill: the Eclectric Jazz Trio opens, followed by the Frank Gambale All Star Group. On Friday 4 December the Stefania Tallini 5et closes the season with two special guests, saxophonist Stefano Di Battista and Franco Piana.

The Odeon as the season's home

The Cine Teatro Odeon is on Via Francesco Cananzi, in Reggio Calabria. It is the same theatre that in autumn also hosts Il Sentiero Incantato verso Natale, the season leading the city towards the holidays: regulars of the venue therefore have two parallel programmes between October and December.
