From social media to the stage
After success on social media, the world of Casa Imbarazzi takes shape on stage, turning family dynamics, small misunderstandings, domestic habits and ordinary situations into an evening of direct and engaging comedy. Moving from short-form to theatre is the real test for this kind of comedy, and here it is stated openly in the title.
The home at the centre of the story
The home becomes the centre of the narrative: a recognisable space made of relationships, mishaps and moments of embarrassment in which the audience can find gestures, words and situations close to their own experience. It is comedy of recognition rather than surprise, and it works on complicity with the room.
The venues
In Reggio Calabria the show is at the Teatro Francesco Cilea, Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi 325, on 25 and 26 November at 9 pm; in Rende at the Cinema Teatro Garden, Via Torino 8. Tickets for the two Reggio evenings are sold on TicketOne from 25.30 euros plus fees; for Rende, times, prices and advance sales are announced by the theatre and by the artist's channels.
