Fabrizio Moro Live in Cittanova, Calabria – 10 August 2026
Piazza Tommaso Campanella · Cittanova, Costa Viola, Calabria
10 August 2026
As mid-August approaches, the Piana di Gioia Tauro prepares for one of the most intense musical nights of the Calabrian summer. On 10 August 2026, Piazza Tommaso Campanella, in the heart of Cittanova, welcomes Fabrizio Moro for a summer tour date hosted within the International Stockfish Festival.
The Roman singer-songwriter brings to the stage a repertoire spanning more than twenty years of Italian cantautore tradition: the songs that shaped his artistic identity, from his early work to the years of full maturity, together with material from his most recent record, performed live for the first time on this tour. He is joined by a five-piece band on guitars, bass, drums and piano.
Born in Rome in 1975, Moro has been a central figure in the recent history of the Sanremo Festival, first as a young revelation and later among the headliners, reaching victory in 2018 and the European stage of Eurovision. His direct, unfiltered writing has found a particularly devoted audience in Calabria.
Access to the square is free and open to all. Cittanova sits halfway between the slopes of the Aspromonte and the coastline of the Costa Viola — a position that makes the evening a perfect chance to combine live music, inland villages and the sea. Given the large turnout expected, arriving well ahead of time is advisable, as is considering parking in the surrounding streets.
