Calabrian tennis is gearing up for one of its most anticipated weeks: from 5 to 13 August 2026, TC Oppido hosts the 17th edition of the Città di Oppido Mamertina National Tournament, a fixture of the summer calendar in the province of Reggio Calabria.
Run under the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation (FITP) and backed by the Municipality of Oppido Mamertina, the event features a women's singles Open draw with €2,000 in prize money — a purse that has consistently drawn strong players from across Italy to the courts on Corso Aspromonte.
Matches are played with Dunlop Fort All Court balls. Entries go through the PUC (Portale Unico Competizioni) on MyFITP and close on 3 August 2026 at 12:00.
