Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of the platform in informational showcase mode. The platform allows users to browse accommodations, local businesses and territorial content that is published or aggregated, without managing bookings, payments, purchases or stay contracts. The platform is operated by Ci vediamo in Calabria (the "Operator"). By using the platform you fully accept these Terms.

1. Scope of the service

The platform lets users browse published accommodation listings, view their informational details and, where available, contact the relevant owners or operators. At this stage the platform operates only as an informational and contact showcase: it does not sell, rent, collect money for stays, handle deposits, confirm availability, allow online bookings or conclude stay contracts. Any contact, negotiation, availability check or agreement takes place directly between the user and the owner or operator, outside the platform.

2. Role of the platform and exclusion of liability

The platform provides solely a technological and informational space where owners or operators may publish their listings and users may browse them. The Operator is not a party to stay, lease, sale or tourism service contracts that may be concluded between third parties and does not take part in negotiations between users and owners or operators.

Accordingly, to the extent permitted by law, the Operator is NOT liable for: the truthfulness, accuracy, legality, quality or actual availability of listings and accommodations; negotiations, agreements, economic terms and disputes between users and owners or operators; the condition, compliance and safety of accommodations; the conduct and tax, administrative, urban-planning, tourism or authorisation obligations of owners or operators.

Where a listing concerns an accommodation facility or a property intended for tourist or short-term rental, the owner or operator remains responsible for providing and keeping up to date the identification codes required by applicable law, including CIN, CIR or other local codes where due. Any complaints about an accommodation or stay must be addressed directly to the owner or operator. If a page expressly states that an accommodation is directly managed by the platform Operator, the specific responsibilities indicated on that page or in dedicated documents apply; unless this is expressly stated, the accommodation remains under the responsibility of the owner or operator.

3. Registration and account

The platform can be browsed without an account, except for reserved features. Account registration is free and does not create any obligation to publish listings, purchase services, make bookings, conclude stays or keep content online. Some optional features, such as favourites, content submission, listing management, reviews or support requests, may require creating an account with email and password or signing in with Google or Apple. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is available for added security. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activities carried out through your account.

3b. Minimum age

Use of the platform and registration of an account are reserved for adults (18 years of age or older) or persons of legal age to enter into binding contracts in their jurisdiction. By registering, the user declares that they meet this requirement. The Operator does not knowingly collect data from minors; should they become aware of a registration made by a minor, they reserve the right to delete it without notice.

4. Contacts and requests in showcase mode

The platform may display contact details, contact buttons or request forms relating to listings, where authorised by the owner or operator. Use of these features does not involve payment to the platform for the stay, does not constitute a booking, does not block dates and does not guarantee availability, a reply, stay confirmation or economic terms. Any subsequent communication takes place directly between the user and the owner or operator, who remains independently responsible for the information provided.

4b. Premium services and featured listings

Registration and ordinary use of the platform remain free. Owners, hosts or local business operators may choose, only on their own initiative and without any obligation, to purchase premium or visibility services to feature an apartment, accommodation or local business in the platform's featured areas. These services are not required to register or publish basic content, do not turn the platform into a stay intermediary and do not guarantee contacts, bookings, sales, permanent placement or economic results. Price, duration, promotional content and conditions of any paid service are shown before confirmation and require a voluntary action by the interested user.

5. User obligations and uploaded content

The user undertakes to provide truthful data, use the platform with due diligence and comply with applicable law. Owners, operators or persons requesting publication of listings warrant that they have the title and consent required to publish texts, images, logos, contact details and descriptions of accommodations or businesses; they also warrant that such content is accurate, up to date, does not infringe third-party rights, does not include recognisable persons without adequate consent and includes the identification codes required by applicable law, where due.

By uploading or submitting any content to the platform (including without limitation: listings, images, reviews, event proposals, local business listings and related images; hereinafter "UGC Content"), the user grants the Operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence for the duration of the service to host, publish, display, translate and moderate such content for the purpose of providing the service. The user warrants that they are the author or hold the necessary rights, that the UGC Content does not infringe third-party rights (including copyright and personal data), does not contain unlawful, defamatory or harmful material, and does not include personal data of individuals unaware of the publication.

The user is solely responsible for their UGC Content. The Operator reserves the right not to publish, to modify or to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law, without obligation to provide reasons, and to suspend or close the user's account in the event of repeated violations.

5b. Reviews

The platform may allow reviews to be published about accommodations or businesses. Reviews may be moderated before or after publication. It is prohibited to publish false, manipulated, incentivised, defamatory or third-party rights-infringing reviews. The Operator may remove reviews that do not comply with these Terms without notice. Unless specific tools are indicated on the platform, we are unable to authenticate the identity of reviewers or verify the accuracy of the content; reviews reflect the opinion of their authors.

5c. Moderation and content reporting (notice-and-takedown)

The Operator reserves the right (but not the obligation) to moderate, reject or remove at its discretion any user-uploaded content that is unlawful, defamatory, harmful to third-party rights, contrary to these Terms or applicable law. Anyone who believes that content published on the platform violates their rights or is unlawful may submit a written report to the address indicated in the Contacts section. The Operator undertakes to review reports received within a reasonable time and, where warranted, to remove the reported content.

5d. Content from external sources (news, events, POI)

The platform may aggregate and display news, events and points of interest from third-party sources, including local RSS feeds, open data such as Calabria Straordinaria under CC BY 4.0, APIs such as Ticketmaster and OpenStreetMap cartographic data. Content is displayed with source attribution for informational purposes only. The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency or availability of third-party content or of external sites to which it links. The Operator respects the licences of the sources used and does not assume editorial responsibility for aggregated content, which remains with the original sources.

6. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is", without warranties of continuity, availability or absence of errors. In addition to the above, the Operator is not liable for: temporary unavailability of the platform due to maintenance or technical issues; data loss caused by events beyond its reasonable control; indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, listings, informational content or accommodations. Any mandatory protection provided by law for consumers and data subjects remains unaffected.

7. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may be updated over time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform; continued use after publication constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes are subject to the consumer's court of jurisdiction where applicable.
