From 1 July to 30 September 2026, the Città di Cosenza Multimedia Museum is hosting “Van Gogh – A Dream Called Vincent”, an immersive exhibition dedicated to one of the most beloved artists in the history of art. This is not merely an exhibition, but a sensory experience that takes visitors into Vincent Van Gogh ’s creative universe, transforming his works into environments of light, colour, movement and sound. Thanks to immersive 360° projections, the artist’s masterpieces come to life in the space, inviting the public to experience art from a new and engaging perspective.

Event details

The exhibition takes visitors on a journey through some of the most recognisable images from Van Gogh’s oeuvre: the intense light of the sunflowers, the ethereal atmospheres of *The Starry Night*, and the landscapes and colours that shaped his artistic and personal journey. The exhibition traces the most significant moments in Van Gogh ’s life, from his Dutch years through to his Provençal period, through high-definition images and a soundtrack designed to convey the emotional power of his paintings.
