From 9 to 11 October 2026, Reggio Calabria will host the Cosmos Award, an initiative dedicated to promoting scientific culture and popularising science in the fields of physics, astronomy and mathematics. The Prize brings together scholars, authors, students and the general public through meetings, conferences and educational activities. Each year, two awards are presented to the best works of popular science published in Italian: the Cosmos Prize, awarded by a scientific committee, and the Students’ Cosmos Prize, decided by the votes of hundreds of pupils from Italian secondary schools and Italian schools abroad.
