Through the streets of San Martino

On 7, 8 and 11 November 2026, Marina di Gioiosa Ionica will host ‘Through the streets of San Martino’, an event dedicated to conviviality, traditional Calabrian cuisine and the values of sharing. The event kicks off on 7 November with ‘A Glass for Life’, a charity dinner whose proceeds will be donated to the Angela Serra Association in support of cancer research. On 8 November, the focus shifts to the Sunday Lunch, conceived as a large communal meal inspired by home cooking and traditional recipes, accompanied by music and stories from the Calabrian storyteller Andrea Bressi.
Event details
The event concludes on 11 November, St Martin’s Day, with the distribution of zeppole and wine and a gathering open to the community, in the spirit of a tradition that combines flavour, socialising and participation.
