The tradition of great band music comes to Gioiosa Ionica with an event dedicated to musical culture and live performance. On Saturday, August 29, 2026, as part of the 176th Concert Season, the award-winning historic “F. Fenaroli” Grand Band Concert—the City of Lanciano Band —will take center stage for a day of music in the heart of Calabria. The band will perform in Piazza Plebiscito, presenting a varied program that includes a matinee and an evening concert, taking the audience on a journey through the band repertoire, musical tradition, and original compositions.
Event details
Under the direction of Maestro Rocco Eletto, the City of Lanciano Band will be joined by sopranos Geremia Ambrosino, Rocco Spisso, and Alessandro Pisapia for a performance that celebrates the heritage of live music and the connection between art, community, and the local area.
