What better location than Gerace (RC), among Italy's Most Beautiful Villages, to host the The Enchanted Village festival? Carved into the rock and facing the Ionian Sea, the historic centre of Gerace, with its medieval charm, hosts one of the most magical summer events in Calabria: The Enchanted Village, an international festival of street artists that lights up this place with light and magic every year at the end of July. This year's appointment is for 26, 27 and 28 July.

Event details

The international street art festival, The Enchanted Village, is an enthralling event for young and old alike and stages a series of truly unique exhibitions and performances: a three-day event enlivened by stilt-walkers, fire-eaters, jugglers, circus performers, mimes and musicians ready to amaze passers-by with their tricks of yesteryear, in a fairy-tale atmosphere that enhances the architectural beauty of the village and its traditions, starting with its gastronomic ones. There are many tastings of typical local products that can also be sampled in private homes, which the people of Gerace make available to visitors in the name of their proverbial hospitality. All that remains is to take a seat on one of the terraces overlooking the sea or the hills and enjoy the show!
