On 11 and 12 August 2026, Campomarzo in Fiera returns to Monasterace, in the province of Reggio Calabria. Now in its fourth year, the event offers two evenings dedicated to music, culture, crafts and local food specialities. The main new feature this year is the Campomarzo Talks: sessions with various guests exploring topics related to contemporary Calabria, ranging from regional identity to innovation, from health to the future prospects of local communities. The programme also caters for families, with animated story-telling sessions for children organised by Clarissa - Il Libro Dorato.

Event details

Visitors to the fairground will also be able to browse the stalls of craftspeople and exhibitors and sample the offerings from street food vendors and food outlets. Live music will provide entertainment on both days. A concert by Francesco Giannini is scheduled for Tuesday 11 August; on Wednesday 12 August, the group Son’Abballu, who perform traditional Calabrian music, will take to the stage. [gallery]
