Gasperina’s ancient "rughe" come to life once more with "Taste & Walk 4 - Authentic Gasperina", an event that invites visitors to discover the village through a tour dedicated to traditional flavours, conviviality and the beauty of the historic centre. The event is scheduled for Monday, 10 August 2026, setting off at 7.30 pm from Piazza Enrico Fermi. Organised by Pro Loco Gasperina, the event offers a food and wine tour through the narrow streets and squares, where each stop reveals a glimpse of the local identity through recipes handed down through the generations and local produce.

The tasting menu will guide participants along the route with specialities of traditional cuisine, from Calabrian-style bruschetta to fried zippole, including tagliatelle with chickpeas, stuffed peppers, aubergine parmigiana and the traditional dessert Murunejra, all accompanied by wines from local wineries. The experience will be enhanced by music and opportunities to socialise, transforming a stroll through the village into a journey through flavour, history and traditions, designed to showcase Gasperina’s gastronomic and cultural heritage.
